simulacijaOD IDEJE DO REALNOSTI:

FROM IDEA TO REALITY:
After many decades of waiting, Opatija's athletes and sport enthusiasts finally knew that their dream was about to become true when the the construction of the sports hall began on 17 October 2011. The hall was designed by the architect Borot Petanjek of the company Coning d.d. from Varaždin. After his sudden death in 2012, his work was continued by Mrs Milka Šuput from the same company. It took us three years to complete the hall, which includes all activities from the draft design and the preparation of preliminary, main and detailed design, obtaining location and building permits, to the completion of the construction and the issue of the occupancy permit. Compared to other sports halls in the surrounding area, this is a rather short period of time. Even so, had we not encountered problems during the construction of the foundation (due to the weak soil), the hall would have been completed four months earlier.
